What is information? Are we limiting the experience of an infinite continuum to arbitrary discrete bits by looking down at our phones and not up at the sky? Can a binary world help us gain perspective or will we lose ourselves in the abstraction? Is there actually enough common ground for a computer to understand human reality or are we building an alien intelligence that merely mimics human thought for our own entertainment?
